ICP-OES is a laboratory technique used to detect and measure the amount of chemical elements in a sample.
In ICP-OES, the sample (usually a liquid) is introduced into a very hot plasma (ionized gas). The high temperature excites the atoms and ions in the sample, causing them to emit light at specific wavelengths. Each element produces its own unique light signature.
Requirements to send sample(s):
ICP-OES is widely used in environmental testing, food analysis, pharmaceuticals, geology, industrial quality control and clinical and biological research because it can analyze many elements at the same time with high accuracy and sensitivity.
