Utilizing a camera capable of swiftly capturing the entirety of a microscope slide's image, the system allows users to view it on a computer screen and designate areas of interest. Subsequently, employing a high-resolution 3-chip CCD camera, the device scans the previously selected area. Equipped with a 20x or 40x magnifying lens and an autofocus feature, it automatically sharpens the captured image. The resulting image of the entire slide resembles those obtained via motorized microscopes.

It provides high-resolution capabilities for digital slide scanning, imaging, analysis, and educational purposes in the field of histology and pathology.
