A desk top type -45°C freeze dryer. Various manifolds and dry chambers are selectable. Auto-mode starts vacuum pump operation after trap temperature is cooled.

1. Please use 50ml falcon tube or 29/32 round bottom flask. 
2. The maximum sample in round bottom flask or 50ml falcon tube must be < ½ from the maximum volume of flask/tube quantity.

A freeze dryer removes water from a perishable material in order to preserve it, extending its shelf life and/or making it more convenient for transport. Freeze dryers work by freezing the material, then reducing the pressure and adding heat to allow the frozen water in the material to change directly to a vapor (sublimate).
