The Physiological Pressure Transducer is a highly accurate and robust piezo-resistive transducer. The dome is easy to fill and is quickly coupled to the transducer, without any liquid between the transducer and dome diaphragms. This ensures the physiological pressure monitor device never fouls and gives the transducer a long life expectancy.
The Physiological Pressure Transducer is supplied with three Disposable Clip-on Domes, a holder and Interface Cable (4-pin to 8-pin DIN cable, length 2.5m). A Snap Holder is available for attaching the liquid pressure transducer to a retort or similar stand. Suitable for connection to any ADInstruments Bridge Amps. A Pressure Gauge kit which provides the necessary items to calibrate pressure transducers is available.
Arterial blood pressure measurements are key parameters in studies of autonomic regulation of cardiovascular function. The power of integrative physiological analysis is enabled by the capability to measure additional parameters concurrently with continuous vascular pressure signals, whether acutely in anesthetized animals or chronically with telemetry implants.
Beat-to-beat invasive blood pressure recordings or also allow for assessment of time variance and dynamics of change in data over time.
Whether you wish to record and analyze blood pressure in small or large animals, ADInstruments can help you create a solution tailored for your research requirements.
